Green Roof & Living Wall

Project Description

In the lobbies of One and Two Commerce, a luxury office complex on Market Street, we installed four Urban Jungle living walls in prominent locations: located off the main desks by entrance doors to restaurants and coffee shops.

These living walls include a tropical plant palette propagated in a soilless growing media. The plants were installed in a random pattern, which echos plant establishment patterns found in a meadow.

On the roof of the same building, our team designed and installed a green roof on the 29th floor terrace. The shape of the green roof sections responds to the repeating shapes found in the building, designed by I.M. Pei in 1980’s. The green roof is a visual amenity for the office tenants provided by the building owner as part of the lease agreement.
