Project Description

This client requested that we transform the ground-level courtyard into an extension of their available entertainment space.

To define the edges of the space we fabricated planters and our signature grid trellis. On the north wall we planted a large broadleaf evergreen hedge for a clean and elegant green element. On the west wall we planted a shade tolerant vine, ferns and carexes.

On the second floor balcony we installed railing planters that provide some privacy without obstructing views of the busy street below. We installed a small-scale green roof just outside of a hallway window creating a lush green view that maximizes the greenery within their space.
